CHELSEA TEXTILES: Tinsel Weave Workshop
Join us in person for a fun and friendly session diving into the world of tinsel weave!
Facilitated by Chelsea Textiles 2026 Graduate, Yan Wu, you are invited to create a sparkling decorative weave using leftover tinsel foils. With help from our knowledgable weaver graduates, it is a playful opportunity to introduce some basic woven structures and have fun with materials.We offer up to 10 colours of foils and all type of 4-shaft/8-shaft patterns, including Houndstooth, Checkerboards, Windowpane… or simply play with colour combinations. At the end of this session, you can frame your work with provided papers and take your piece home.

No experience needed
Children welcome with supervision from their adult
