CHELSEA TEXTILES: Community Weaving
An Introduction to the Digital Loom

Join us in person for a fun and friendly session diving into the world of digital weaving!

Facilitated by Chelsea Textiles 2026 Graduate, Belen Fernandez, you are invited to weave on a hand loom built through collaboration between artist and engineer. Using the loom, you will create a short-woven sample using basic weave structures. The session draws on the project's central theme: that cloth, like community, is made through many hands. Participants take home their woven sample as a souvenir of the experience and get to learn more about weaving. Open to beginners!
