Chef at the Market- Chef Mike Hallead from Cafe Paradisio Mike has 20 years experience as a chef.
He started his career at Cafe Waterfront in Eureka, California.
Next he moved to Seattle and learned most of his knowledge with classically trained rustic Italian chefs for 9 years. They utilized seasonal menus with local fresh ingredients. Mike established himself at Cafe Paradiso 8 years ago. His wife and right hand man Joseph create an efficient team at the lovely Paradisio restaurant. Mike prides himself in creating new cuisine and also doing large tasting menus with local wineries in Redding. Mike is passionate about his work; he is fueled by Redding’s love and support.
The chef will prepare some delicious dishes using many of the local ingredients found right at our farmers market! You’re invited to join him in the Chef tent to watch him prepare and sample some seasonal culinary delights!
