We are very happy to report that The Chebucto Big Band will be returning to our concert series for 2026. As always, concerts are free, but donations, which are split between Scott Manor House and the performers, are welcome. Rain date July 23rd. Bring a chair or blanket and join us!
The Chebucto Big Band is a twenty-piece local company band, which originally started as a continuing education band practicing at Queen Elizabeth High School. The Big Band under the direction of well-known musician John Cuming has been performing for approximately 29 years for public and private events, including the Jazz Festival each year. The band plays a variety of music, including big band standards, swing, jazz, and Latin.
