You may be wondering if we are having a kite festival in Chattanooga this year. We are not having a Sculptures in the Sky Kite Festival b/c the Chinese Lantern show is taking up space at the Sculpture Fields through April.
But we are having a Kite Fly and Picnic! It will take place on May 23rd, the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. Come with your kites, food and drink, and bluetooth speakers. We will fly from 10 am to 5 pm. There will be kite making from 10 until 12 or 1, then I will pull out my kites along with some big ones. Nothing fancy; just a good old kite fly.
