Kathy Lee, the granddaughter of our founders George Sr. and Eula Turner, practically grew up in Sunken Gardens. From stepping through a secret garden gate as a girl to riding in the back of a station wagon with flamingos, you’ll love Kathy’s tales of a magical and uniquely Florida childhood.
As our archives volunteer, Kathy will be available to answer questions about Sunken Gardens’ colorful past as you peruse our air-conditioned History Center during this informal Q & A opportunity.
