Chat about Transmission Line Projects in Jefferson County

On August 6th, we the Jefferson County Residents, have a unique opportunity!
At their meeting on August 6th, the Jefferson County Commission will revisit putting out a resolution in opposition to the proposed new and/or expanded transmission lines (Valley North and Gore-Dobbs Goose Creek.) Several other Commissions in counties across West Virginia have formally opposed these projects, and we need ours to do the same!
We are asking you to show up and share a public comment regarding how these projects will affect you, specifically. Bring a friend! Let's fill the room! Let the commissioners learn first hand what the people truly think and want regarding the transmission line projects being proposed in the area.
PUBLIC COMMENT GUIDELINES:
Arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to sign up to comment.
You will have 3 minutes to speak on the specific item on the agenda. For this meeting, it will be the Valley North Transmission Line Project Resolution.
-Keep your comment civil.
-Keep your comment on the subject.
-Keep your comment to allowed time as best you can.
DO NOT:
-Do not make your comment about a specific commissioner.
-Do not make your comment about a different subject that is not related to the transmission line projects.
