Thursday September 10th, the Linsmore Tavern (1298 Danforth Ave) can’t wait to welcome back to our stage, Chasing Squirrels and Tall Poppies! We can’t wait to welcome back these two bands who played together on our stage back in 2025! This night is going to be a ton of fun and there will be great music! The show starts at 7:30pm, no cover!
Formed in 2022, Chasing Squirrels is an alternative rock band that blends math-rock and alternative into eclectic, high energy songs. They play a collection of covers, unreleased music, and their newly released EP “The Throckmorton Plot” expands this sonic profile with more experimental songwriting and studio experimentation.
Tall Poppies are pleased to have a return engagement at the legendary Linsmore Tavern. Veterans of the Toronto live music scene, the Poppies bring their notoriously sloppy covers of 60’s psych pop and 70’s groove rockers to the Linsmore stage, plucking from the best of The Velvets, The Kinks, Bowie and The Electric Prunes, to name a few.
