Second Thursdays

We're coming to you on the Second Thursday of every month. Providing you, with your monthly opportunity to meet, network and share ideas, sometimes virtually, other times in person, with other Fundraising Professionals across the West Midlands.

Please note, this is an in person event and spaces are limited.

To kick start 2023 off, this session will be on - How to enhance your Challenge Event Programme in 2023.

The session will be an Introduction to Run for Charity, the largest platform and preferred route for charities in the UK to fill places in mass participation events. We give charities access to over 750 events across the UK, including many Midlands based events such as Run Alton Towers, Birmingham Running Festival, Solihull Half Marathon, Inflatable 5K’s, Bungee Jumps and more. Uniquely charities don't have to commit to places, they can register runners one at a time.

Our Speaker:

Andy Fish, Head of Development at Run for Charity

Andy has a background of over 10 years’ experience in the fundraising sector working for The Sydney Children’s Hospital, London Marathon, Grassrootz (fundraising platform) and now Head of Development at Run for Charity. Andy also recently introduced a unique offering called Kit for Charity, offering a unique zero cost model to supply charities with running and cycling kit.
