The events will be followed by networking and socializing. Beer, wine, coffee, tea and snacks are available from The Pauline Tea-Bar and Apothecary.

December 6th:

  • Topic: Digital Marketing For Musicians 101 with Taylor Winchester, Director of Revenue at found.ee, a Downtown Music Holdings company. Whether you’re a band, a solo artist/MC, or a producer, chances are that you will have to rely on yourself first when it comes to promoting the music you create. It’s important to concentrate on the digital promotion of your new releases, music videos, tour dates, or even just yourself/your band for the sake of getting the name out there. By doing so, you’ll be inviting more and more opportunities your way while simultaneously building a ‘brand’ around your music. Having spent over 10yrs in the music industry, Taylor has worked with a variety of clients to help develop digital marketing strategies, including record labels like Merge Records, Loma Vista and Epitaph, concert promoters like Live Nation, Dayglo Presents, and Memphofest, as well as artist management teams for John Legend, Billy Strings and LeAnn Rimes. As Director of Revenue at found.ee, Taylor helps record labels, creators, artists and event promoters develop audiences and execute effective programmatic advertising campaigns.
  • Music: Musical artist Blaine Goodwin will be performing a few songs to kick off the program.

January 3rd:

  • Topic: Come learn from Joe Kuhlmann, owner of The Evening Muse. Joe has been involved professionally in the music industry for over 30 years. As a musician, sound engineer, record producer, venue owner, consultant, Joe has worn many a hat and still has most of his hair left! His true desire is to cultivate a community that values humanity on a deeper level, both for those who create and those who are enriched through those creations.
  • Music: To be announced soon!
