Ruben’s Bolero is the story of Marta’s tragedy, which is told in the rhythm of boleros. After fifteen years of waiting for her boyfriend to get out of Pr*son, she is consumed by the walls of her half-finished house, and she lost dream of being a singer, taking her through imaginary passages that reflect her frustration, anger, and fear.

Ruben’s Bolero navigates between thriller, musical, realism, and comedy, making it a unique film.

El Bolero de Rubén es una tragedia a ritmo de boleros donde Marta, tras quince años de esperar que su novio salga de la cárcel es consumida por las paredes de su casa a medio terminar, al mismo tiempo que su extinto sueño de ser cantante la lleva por pasajes imaginarios que reflejan su frustración su rabia y su miedo.
