Charlotte InfraGard Meeting

Please join the Charlotte InfraGard chapter on Tuesday, September 16th at 1:00 for our chapter meeting! Our meeting will take place at the Bank of America Sherrill Building, located at 13510 Ballantyne Corporate Place, Charlotte, NC 28277.

If you are attending at this location for the first time, please park at the rear of the building and enter through the ground floor doors. The meeting room will be to your immediate right. Parking is free.

Our featured speaker is our very own Curtis Ivins, who will provide an active shooter briefing, which continues to be a huge threat to our businesses, schools, and our comunities at large.

**Attendance will be capped at 55. Following the meeting, all members are invited to head over to Old Mecklenburg Brewery, which is approximately 2 blocks from the meeting location for a happy hour event. This is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow members.

Curtis Ivins Bio

Today, Curtis is the CEO of Preparedness Consulting Services, LLC (PCS), founded in June 2023 with a sole focus and passion for the safety, security and well-being of people in a high-risk & complex modern era.

As a retired U.S. Army Military Intelligence officer, and proud family man Curtis’ extensive professional and educational background enables his leadership of PCS, only some of which includes:

2004-2023 | United States Army

• Retired as a decorated and senior Major in the Army after priorenlisted, and as a Military Intelligence professional - serving in 18 duty positions across a dozen units and nine duty stations, with over 46 months of direct combat across two tours in support of OEF, preceded by two tours in OIF with the 82nd Airborne Division, all with combat decorations including two Bronze Stars and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.

• Versed in and experienced with Emergency & Disaster Management with hands-on work through DSCA operations including Response to Hurricanes Florence and Michael across the eastern US, as well as humanitarian operations along the U.S. southern border during BORDER SUPPORT.

2023-Present | CEO and Co-Founder of PCS, LLC

• Proven and reputable leadership of PCS efforts through All-Hazard vulnerability analytics with effective mitigations, and widely active across Critical Infrastructure with a focus on E-Sector security & resiliency, and with unrivalled access to broad professional networks and unmatched security technologies.

• Established both self and organization as integral members of: EIS, NCEMA, IACLEA, DRI, IAEM, INFRAGARD, FIR, and BCI.

• With Curtis as Incident Commander, PCS in partnership with other organizations led and executed fully private Hurricane Helene Relief operations for 6 months straight, provisioning over 123,000 persons at supply, efficiency and cost rates far exceeding Federal Relief standards.
