A weekend celebration of Caribbean Culture will begin Friday June 23rd and culminate Sunday June 25th 2023.
June is recognized as National American-Caribbean Heritage Month.
Charlotte Caribbean Carnival will feature local artists drummers dancers and steel pan players. Attendees and passersby will enjoy a street parade featuring the best of Carnival inspired fashions entertainment and arts; the Charlotte Carnival Queen would be participating in the parade. A highlight of the festival will be the Afro-Caribbean Village with vendors dancers and exhibits.
