Charlotte Bumgarner is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Tulsa. She has been playing the local Tulsa scene for about 2-3 years as a solo artist and for about a year with her band Graveyard Party. Music has always been super important to Charlotte, especially quiet music. Charlotte’s sound can be described as a mix of many influences, but is mostly an emo singer/songwriter & folky fusion. Charlotte is also a big activist for female equality & rights and tries to integrate that into my songwriting and my footprint in the scene in general.

Moriah Bailey (Stephenson) is a singer-songwriter and a harpist with a heavy heart and plenty of sorrow to spare. The core of her music is her harp and her vocals, with sparse arrangements that may involve a piano, a lone violin, or some light percussion that floats around in the air quietly. Her music is minimalistic and matches her pared down and subtly shaded melodies. She has remarkable talent in constructing songs that are compelling, honest, and emotionally transparent. Her use of the harp gives the melancholy of her songs a classy and pastoral feel especially in combination with her beautiful, haunting voice that has Björk like notes peeking through in short stretches.

Alex Dupree is a published poet and songwriter. He got his musical start in Austin, Texas before
moving to California to focus on poetry, studying and teaching at UC Irvine. Songwriting was
never far from his mind. Despite a deep love for country music, Dupree’s songs never quite settle into that category, absorbing additional influences from the likes of Laurie Anderson, Arthur Russell, Bjork, and John Cale. His last album, Thieves, was released by Keeled Scales in 2022. Produced by Michael Krassner (Califone, Simon Joyner, Boxhead Ensemble), Thieves features Max Knouse, Aaron Stern, Stephen Hodges (Tom Waits, Mavis Staples), Buck Meek (Big Thief), as well as long time collaborators Aisha Burns and Matt Matherne. The songs present a motley cast of characters who, in Dupree’s voice, combine to tell the story of a single self. Taken together, these wide-ranging stories feel deeply confessional, an idiosyncratic folklore of identity and rebirth.

Micaela Young blends folk, jazz, and modern singer-songwriter elements to create her distinct, atmospheric sound. Her music while falling under many genres outside of folk and jazz. Sometimes the music feels like R&B and the next minute it feels like devotional carnatic singing with how lose she is with her vocals. Singer-songwriter is a vague enough genre to start with but Micaela is not what you might expect when you think of folk singer songwriter music. The normal formula for folk music seems to be something she never even considered. You sort of intuitively know what comes next when listening to a lot of music in that style, even non musicians can predict the chord structure of most folk songs. Micaela's guitar playing and most notably her singing style is so uniquely and specifically intuitive to her mind and emotions that you would never be able to guess what her next chord or musical decision might be. It's clear she's either already mastered her instruments or she writes and performs with complete freedom. She has a level of confidence in her lyrics and melodies that takes most artists many years to settle into and learn to allow themselves that freedom of expression. You can't predict the next moment in one of her songs but you can predict it will be perfect.
