Charlotte Art Collective Holiday Show

Charlotte Art Collective is delighted to bring their Holiday Show back to the Dilworth area on Saturday, November 8. Come to the Avondale Family Life Center, 2821 Park Road between 10 am and 4 pm, to find a wide variety of eye-catching art and craft. Shop for unique, one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts for the holidays in an easygoing atmosphere. Admission and parking are free.

The juried show attracts a lively mix of established and emerging artists. It’s always an enjoyable show with new artists introduced and favorite ones returning. With all CAC members participating along with three guest artists, the November show features 25 local artists with works in painting, mixed media, etchings, watercolor, photography, printmaking, pottery, handcrafted jewelry, glass, mosaics, book arts, basketry, wood, metal, leather purses and satchels, fiber art, whimsical sculpture and more.

Charlotte Art Collective began in the 2000’s - an informal group for artists to gather, socialize, and present their work. Today many CAC artists are full-time professionals, some of whom are represented in galleries. Many receive commissions, and all offer their work for sale locally and beyond.

For over ten years each show’s artists have donated work to benefit local non-profits. Since 2014 more than $11,000 has been given to eight different organizations. Again this November, two show guests will win a basketful of art made by CAC artists.
