Menomonie Theater Guild is thrilled to present our upcoming production of Charley’s Aunt: A Menomonie Farce, a steampunk-inspired twist on the classic farce that has delighted audiences for over a century. Directed by Russell Slack (Murder on the Orient Express – 2023, And Then There Were None – 2024), this lively comedy promises an evening of laughter, quick disguises, and outrageous misunderstandings.Set in 1905 at a fictionalized UW–Stout, this adaptation takes the familiar hilarity of Charley’s Aunt and reimagines it with a Menomonie flavor. College students find themselves tangled in a web of mistaken identities, desperate deceptions, and unexpected romance — all with the over-the-top flair of steampunk style.
