Charleston Day! What's that?
Every 4th Saturday of the month we harken back to early Charleston Business District vibes, circa 1940s/50s.
Activities:
- Write letters and postcards to neighbors and friends - free at Spread Supplies! Stamps included.
- Get a pastry at McGavin's, opened in 1942
- Write postcards to the neighborhood
- Get coffee at any of the several coffee shops in Charleston
- Listen to old tunes
- Sit in the store window and paint or draw or whatever
Phones are discouraged.
Cash is encouraged.
You're invited to dress in your best 40s/50s outfit, if you feel compelled. We will be!
