🎃👻 Join Us for a Spooktacular Halloween Night at The Charleston! 👻🎃
Get ready for an evening full of candy, costumes, and community fun—open to ALL families in Lake Charles and surrounding areas! Whether you live inside The Charleston or nearby, you’re invited to come celebrate with us.
🕒 Event Details
📍 Location: The Charleston Community (5000 Leon Dr, Lake Charles)
📅 Date: October 30th
⏰ Start Time: 5:30 PM at the Pavilion
✨ WHAT IS HAPPENING
Costume Contest (Residents Only) – Kicks off at 5:30 PM at the Pavilion. Open to Charleston kids ages 18 & under. We’ll crown 3 winners plus a special prize for the best-dressed furry friend—so don’t forget to dress up your pets! 🐾
Trick-or-Treating – After the contest, kids will start on the south side of the community and make their way through.
Community Fun for Everyone – Hot dogs from the outdoor kitchen, face painting & snacks under the Pavilion, and a family-friendly Halloween movie on the lawn (bring your chairs & blankets)! 🍿🌭
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Open Invitation
This is not just for Charleston residents—everyone in Lake Charles and surrounding communities is welcome! Invite your friends, family, and classmates to join in the fun.
🍬 Residents Passing Out Candy
If you live in The Charleston and plan to hand out candy, please text 337-884-1195 with your lot number so we can make sure we’re stocked up for the kids. (If you’ll be out trick-or-treating but leaving a bowl at the end of your driveway, let us know too!)
⚠️ Important Note
Please do not knock on doors. Homes welcoming trick-or-treaters will be set up at the end of their driveways with candy.
