Rev. Charles Grandison Finny was one of the most renowned evangelists of the nineteenth century and founder of Oberlin College. Rev. George Washington Gale founded the radically- abolitionist Oneida Institute and Knox College. Steve Smits of the Westerville Historical Society will discuss the lives work and local connections of these two prominent theologians and educators.
