Well, I don’t do this very often… and that’s exactly why I’m doing it.
On June 17 at Judson’s Live (Dr Phillips Center), I’ll be stepping on stage without Mike for a very different kind of night.
This will be completely different from what you’re used to seeing me do. No band. No Gilly next to me (which is slightly terrifying after 10 years of standing shoulder to shoulder). Just me, a pianist, and a very personal evening of music and stories.
We’re going back to my musical theater roots and the songs that shaped me long before I was in a duo. I will probably throw in some cheesy adult contemporary tunes and some classic standards as well. Even if you’re not a full-on Broadway person, I truly believe there will be something for you.
Seating is very limited and mostly table-style, so it will be an intimate night. If you’re thinking about coming, it’s honestly best to grab tickets sooner rather than later.

I won’t pretend this isn’t a little intimidating for me. Solo shows always are. But it would mean the world to look out and see some familiar, smiling faces.
