About Charging Ahead: Parent Preview to Middle School

Charging Ahead is St. Victor School’s annual middle school preview night—a dynamic, hands-on event designed for families exploring Catholic middle schools in San Jose, especially in the Berryessa/Milpitas neighborhood.

This experience gives parents a clear look at what sets our private middle school program apart: strong academics, meaningful faith formation, leadership development, and a whole-child approach that prepares students for high school success.

Our theme this year: Celebrating Growth and Excellence in Learning.

This interactive preview gives families a true feel for what life is like in the St. Victor middle school program, including:

• Classroom rotations
• Hands-on academic demonstrations
• Student work samples
• A faith-based approach to learning
• Insights into high school readiness and student leadership
• Opportunities to engage with our teachers and community

• Questions about 6th–8th grade
• Interest in curriculum, enrichment, and high school preparation
• A desire to discover what makes a St. Victor Charger
