An exhibition of oil paintings and etchings across two galleries exploring analogy within themes of landscape, or figures in the landscape, and memory. “Analogy is a means of creation”, wrote Pierre Reverdy, an early surrealist poet, and an abiding influence on Franklin’s current work. The title pays homage to Luigi Pirandello’s play, 'Six Characters in Search of an Author’. Stuart Franklin’s studio is in Gozo where all the paintings were completed between 2016-2026.
