Something wicked (and wonderfully fun) is coming to Shreveport Little Theatre! On Thursday, October 16, 2025, SLT will transform its lobby and courtyard into a haunted playground for “Cocktails & Characters: Scary Stories Edition.” This one-night-only event begins at 6:00 pm with sinister sips, creepy costumes, and ghostly tales and leads into the very first performance of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at 7:30 pm.

Guests will step into a world of Halloween mischief, complete with:
🎭Spine-chilling cocktails & themed bites including the mysterious Pirelli’s Miracle Elixir, meat pies (careful now…), themed desserts.
🎭Ghost stories and folklore: Dr. Kate Nunnery (LSUS) will conjure eerie tales of Bedlam, Penny Dreadfuls, and the grisly legend of Sweeney Todd.
🎭Backstage tours: Sneak behind the curtain for a rare peek at SLT’s stage secrets, starting at 6:00 pm in 15-minute intervals.
🎭Costume Contest: People’s Choice: Strut your spooky style! Patrons can purchase $5 “votes” for their favorite look, with the winner taking home a Season Ticket.
🎭Photo ops & character encounters: Pose with haunted backdrops, mingle with the cast, and watch out for sudden screams and surprises!
🎭The Announcement of our Summer 2026 Musical: Be the first to know what exciting show will take the stage un July 2026 to kick off our 105th Season.
And the crowning thrill? Guests of “Cocktails & Characters” will be the first to witness the Preview Performance of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street before it opens to the public.
