Character and Coaching is a free workshop hosted by Seth K. Thomas, comedian, coach, and community outreach coordinator for the HIT. At this workshop, Seth will share his character-building technique, the 70. The 70 is a character technique designed specifically for improvisers and sketch comedians. Seth has taught this technique as a workshop at festivals nationwide and in Canada and as a four-week class at the Second City, Chicago. This technique is for you if you are a stage performer, especially when doing sketches or improv.

Seth K Thomas has performed, written, and taught sketch and improv for over 20 years and lends his ears, eyes, and expertise to Character and Coaching. Do you have a character you’re working on?
