Charabanc Outing
York Ice Sculptures Trail Sunday 8th February 2026
On SUNDAY 8th February Charabanc is off to York to discover the "Enchanted City Ice Sculptures" dotted throughout the centre of York. Carved by chainsaw experts from huge blocks of ice. Walking time between the enchanting city carved blocks will take about 5-10 mins and maps will be provided.
It does not happen every day but only two days in February once a year.
Stop in the Shambles Food court with its wide variety of food eateries.
York has lots to offer in February not just the Ice trail, and you will have time to visit perhaps one or even two of Yorks famous tourist’s attractions.

Ride on the Open top bus
Stroll along the Walls (free)
York Castle Museum
York Chocolate Story
Or maybe a spot of shopping or window gazing at the shops along the medieval streets. Cost £19 which includes the coach and driver’s tip
It may only be February, but York is a beautiful city, full of history and lots to see and do! Well worth a visit so Do Come.
