With a new band of ace musicians performing together as Chapter Zero, beloved Bay Area musician/songwriter, Jeff Desira conveys empathy of the life experience with his lyrics and authentic delivery. With resonant, rich, and endearing vocals that comfort and engage, his acoustic and electric guitar based pop/rock songs have gained world wide recognition. Jeff has achieved his passion for storytelling and composition with intent and tenacity-and it is palpable. Desira’s development as a multi-skilled musician, composer, recording artist, and performer have spanned over two decades-from busking the streets of New York and San Francisco, to packing iconic venues including Sweetwater Music Hall, Slim’s, Hotel Utah, as well as recording at Public Hi-Fi in Austin, TX, The Record Plant (2200 Studios), and Salamander Sound in Marin County, California. As a Bay Area Native with a diverse influence from Power Pop, Punk, New Wave, Grunge, Folk, Classic Rock, his compositions evoke and inspire emotion to fans from every walk of life-creating the soundtrack arm in arm along the journey of unpaved roads with every listener.
THE LETTERWRITERS:
(also known as The Letter Writers) are a Bay Area indie-rock and power-pop band based out of the San Francisco/East Bay region. The band is well-known in the local underground music scene for their blend of sharp, driving, and melodic power-pop hooks. The Letterwriters have been highly active in the Bay Area, frequently performing at local venues like the Ivy Room in Albany and the Little Hill Lounge in El Cerrito
