Dance for everyone!

Come and try Chantraine Dance in a welcoming environment. Workshops are open to adults of all ages and abilities, whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced dancer.

"I Breathe, I let go, I discover..."

Created in France by Françoise and Alain Chantraine, the Chantraine School of Dance offers a holistic approach to dance: the Dance of Expression. It includes elements from contemporary, ballet, jazz and folk styles, and incorporates principles of dance, yoga and Pilates. It unites the artistic, education and human dimensions of dance to support dancers of all abilities to understand and develop themselves in all aspects of movement.

These monthly workshops will be a continuation from one to the next. Each will include the Chantraine “5 times of life and dance”: from Rhythm (exploring different possibilities in times, weight and space), Inner Awareness (relaxing and awakening the imagination), Technique, Creativity (the vocabulary of dance), Choreography (dancing in harmony with others).

We will discover Françoise Chantraine choreography from the repertoire. The workshops will be led by Chantraine Dance teacher Eloise Rodgers. Learn more about Chantraine dance via our website https://chantrainedance.com/
