Originally born in Denver, raised in Alaska with 10 years in Miami, Chantil draws on many different inspirations and influences to create the versatile, expansive music she presents on this new album. Her writing is driven by storytelling, rooted in the blues deeply explores the subtle facets of human joy, love, and loss.
The “Chantil and the Dukes of Art” album is an organic, warm and authentic body of work that pushes the boundaries between jazz, blues, and pop music.
