About this Event
Changing Realities invite you to our post-election get together!
Everyone is welcome: parents and carers, community organisers, and anyone interested in working together to make change to improve life on a low-income in Scotland today.
During the event, you’ll have opportunities to chat, create some collage, or listen to our panel discussion on the incoming government in Scotland. The event is very much a drop in - come for as much or as little as you’d like.
Event Details:
- Time: We’ll start at 1:00 PM with pizza, snacks, and informal chats.
- Special Guest: Artist Jean McEwan will join us, offering opportunities to create zine art and collages.
- Panel Discussion: At 2:30 PM, we’ll host a panel discussion on "What are the priorities for the incoming government to address poverty in Scotland?"
- For this discussion, we’ll be joined by parents taking part in Changing Realities, John Dickie (Child Poverty Action Group) and Prof. Stephen Sinclair (Chair of the Poverty and Inequality Commission), with more speakers to be announced.
Feel free to drop in at any time during the day, depending on which part interests you.
We can support with travel costs - contact us [email protected]/ 07552 285828
