Change are celebrating the release of their classic album ‘Change of Heart’ with a 40th Anniversary Tour. 4 dates at London’s Jazz Cafe are now sold out 6 months in advance and due to demand the band have added an Essex show at Cliffs Pavilion Southend on Thursday 5th December where special guests will be London’s very own Loose Ends!.
The event will be hosted by Original Funk Mafia DJ, Southends very own Ian Reading
Essex is known for having has a vibrant Soul Scene in the 80’s with many many legendary clubs in the area and is still a ‘must play’ area for any heritage Soul band that is planning a UK tour. Its 40 years since Change last played a headline show in Essex – at The Pink Toothbrush Club in Rayleigh!!
Already this year Cliffs has treated the 80’s Soul fans in the area to shows by Shalamar, Alexander O’Neal, Phil Fearon & Jaki Graham – all 80’s soul icons. Now its Change and Loose Ends for Xmas!.
