This December, Pittsburgh Action Against Rape (PAAR) and Casa San José come together to host Champions of Change: Healing, Rights, & Resilience—a powerful evening celebrating community, courage, and collective action through a one-of-a-kind culinary experience featuring some of Pittsburgh’s most inspiring chefs.
Guests will enjoy a tasting journey through Kingfly’s stunning loft space, with each station offering a creative dish that reflects the spirit of healing, resilience, and unity. Together, these celebrated chefs are using their craft to honor survivors, uplift immigrant voices, and invest in a stronger, more compassionate Pittsburgh.

An Evening of Purpose
Both organizations share a deep commitment to healing, safety, and human dignity, often serving individuals and families navigating systems that can feel overwhelming and isolating. Together, they work to ensure that every person—regardless of background, status, or circumstance—has access to care, advocacy, and belonging.
PAAR provides trauma-informed therapy, advocacy, crisis intervention, and prevention education for survivors of sexual violence across Allegheny County, helping them reclaim their lives with safety, compassion, and empowerment.
Casa San José supports and advocates for Latino immigrants through case management, legal navigation, youth programs, and leadership development—ensuring immigrant families not only survive but thrive and lead.
Together, we are building a Pittsburgh where healing, safety, and belonging are possible for everyone.
