Back at The Bassment for her fifth visit, Champian Fulton is a world-class jazz pianist and vocalist with international acclaim. She grew up in a musical family and began her professional career at the tender age of 10 performing at Clark Terry’s 75th Birthday Party. In 2015 Champian won Down Beat’s Rising Star award for female vocalist.

Today her piano and voice skills are widely recognized by peers and critics as possessing distinction and sophistication. From New York to Barcelona, Champian’s swinging style and charismatic performances have made her a guardian of the legacy of jazz.

Champian will be performing with Swedish clarinetist and saxophonist Klas Lindquist. Champian and Klas are touring in support of their 2025 album, At Home.
