Champagne Shimmy is a night of bellydance, connecting your mind to your body, surrounded with Feminine Love. Experience the intimacy of bonding with other powerful womxn through dance, fitness, and conversation.
Bellydance Class:
Enjoy a full hour of RAQSHIMMY - a unique invigorating full-body Belly Dance inspired workout that promises to tighten up your curves and unleash your feminine spirit by tapping into a an ancient art form and a unique combination of strength, flexibility, and dance technique.
Class will be followed by a champagne toast, chocolate, berries, and a Power Circle, briefly sharing who we are and creating quality connections!
About the Instructor:
Shannon Lewallen is an Award Winning Professional Belly dancer and Instructor. Shannon grew up as gymnast and classically trained ballerina. In High School she directed her attention to Athletics and went on to compete for the University of Southern California Track Team as a Pole Vaulter and Heptathlete. While recovering from a Pole Vault injury post graduation, Shannon discovered Bellydancing and joined an International Dance Company, performing around the world for 6 years.
Shannon moved on to perform as a soloist and develop her own belly dancer teaching method, @RAQSHIMMY, designed to help women get in touch with their bodies while tightening and toning their curves.
