Chambers Lunch with Judge Jantz | Federal Bar Association Chicago Chapter

The Federal Bar Association Chicago Chapter invites you to an exclusive lunch with Hon. Beth W. Jantz on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. This in-person event will be open for FBA member attorneys only. It will be held in Judge Jantz’s Jury Room, 18th Floor, Dirksen U.S. Courthouse, 219 S. Dearborn Street, Chicago, IL 60604.

With only 12 spots available, this intimate lunch offers a unique chance to engage with Judge Jantz in an informal setting. The event is complimentary, but the $25 fee will cover the cost of lunch from Inspiration Kitchen.

Please note: Attorneys who have active matters before Judge Jantz are not eligible to attend. Register soon, as spots are limited and will fill quickly.

Magistrate Judge Beth W. Jantz was appointed to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2019 and was sworn in on February 10, 2020.

Judge Jantz graduated from Dartmouth College in 1999. She graduated from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2002. After graduation, she clerked for the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals’ Staff Attorneys’ Office from 2002 to 2004. Judge Jantz then practiced at Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago, focusing on class actions and product liability. From 2008 to 2019, Judge Jantz served as an attorney with the Federal Defender Program for the Northern District of Illinois.

Judge Jantz was the President of the Chicago Inn of Court from 2019 to 2020. She serves on many court committees, including the Sentencing Options that Achieve Results Program (“SOAR”), which is a pretrial diversion program for criminal defendants; the 7th Circuit Criminal Jury Instructions Committee; and the Administrative Office’s “Roadways to the Bench” program.
