About this Event

Samuel Barber was considered one of the great composers of the early 20th century, but has been largely forgotten. The Cello Sonata and Quartet are amazing, energetic and melodic pieces. Dover Beach is the setting of a poem by Matthew Arnold. The songs are mostly very short and highly varied.
