How can working parents stay in the workforce if childcare is inaccessible or unaffordable?Join us for the third installment of our four-part Chamber Forum Series, where we’ll explore one of the most urgent barriers to workforce retention: childcare.
This forum will feature a thoughtful panel of leaders from across sectors who are actively working on solutions to our region’s childcare challenges—from local providers to state and federal policymakers.
Featured Speakers for the November Forum on Childcare:
Greg Coil – YMCA
Greg VanWorkem – State Representative, 88th District
John Vincent – Outdoor Discovery Center
Pre-recorded remarks from Congresswoman Hillary Scholten – U.S. Representative, 3rd District
Our panelists will examine how childcare impacts the ability of families to stay in the workforce, what’s being done to improve access and affordability, and where we go from here. As always, there will be time for open Q&A with attendees.
Enjoy complimentary coffee, juice, bagels, muffins, and fruit while networking with professionals, advocates, and business leaders.
