The team at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre (SLCC) welcomes you to connect, listen and learn about the museum and all it has to offer with local Cultural Ambassadors. Guests will have the chance to participate in The Truth in Truth and Reconciliation Educational Board Game. Author and Illustrator James Darin Corbiere (Waabi Makoohns, Bear Clan) will be here to engage and lead the games, giving participants an immersive learning experience of the process of colonization in a board game format.
See Lil'wat Master Carver Jonathan Joe and Apprentice Redmond Qawam Andrews live carving the Story Pole that will rise to stand at the entrance to the SLCC. Find out all the ways to connect with the SLCC as an authentic Indigenous organization – honouring Truth and taking thoughtful action in Reconciliation.
