Campus(es): All campuses
Students from all NSCC campuses are invited to take part in Challenge Nova Scotia on Friday, November 13, 2026. This 8-hour event brings students together to tackle a social problem facing our province.
Teams of 3-5 will have 8 hours to determine a solution and create an infographic outlining your solution. Solutions are judged by a panel of industry experts, and the top 3 teams will be awarded cash prizes up to $2,000.
All participants must attend a mandatory on-site Academic Integrity session at their campus. eCampus students will attend the session online. The session, starting at 8:30 am, will cover the importance of proper source citation. The event will end at 5:00 pm.
Prizes
First: $2,000
Second: $1,500
Third: $1,000
