Chakradance is a dance practice for the soul. It is about reconnecting back to your true essence or true self and this workshop is like embarking on a spiritual journey. With its roots in Jungian psychology, Chakradance encourages people to dance for self-discovery and self-healing. Most people love it because it provides a haven away from their stressed everyday lives, and a RARE opportunity to find true freedom of self-expression...

By surrendering to the music of each chakra, we dance from the inside out and find ourselves awakening and healing ancient hurts; expressing – often for the first time – long-blocked emotions; and opening ourselves up to levels of spiritual connection higher than we ever thought possible.
People of all ages (18+) and level of dance experience can participate. It is not about performance or set steps just connecting and getting present with your body and soul.
We will begin with an opening meditation and Cacao Ceremony to set our intentions, a warm up dance then begin our journey exploring each of the 7 chakras starting at The Base Chakra and finishing at the Crown chakra through specific music, guided imagery, and your own free spontaneous dance. We will then spend some time in meditation and mandala artwork.
Overall this workshop can be as dynamic or as gentle as you need, and will help balance and rejuvenate the body and soul for health and wellbeing. Why not try it for yourself and join the Celebration!
