Chakradance has been referred to as a dance practice for the soul. Drawing from the wisdom of Jungian Psychology, and a deep understanding of the chakra system. Chakradance blends free-flowing movements with specific chakra resonating music & imagery to activate each chakra, helping to free energy in your body and open to a deeper experience of life. This is a deep dive into your own inner world, and a truly transformative experience. The course is held over 9 consecutive Monday evenings, and we will focus on a specific chakra each week.
No prior dance experience is required, we dance with eyes closed or downcast in a dimly lit room to tune into your own bodies natural rhythm and flow, organically releasing tension in the body.
You will be emailed a Chakra health check which includes a self assessment for your own interest prior to commencing, and weekly emails on each chakra. These are wonderful tools to reflect back on at the end of the 9 weeks, as well as your own mandala art which you spontaneously create at the end of each dance. Revealing unconscious findings from the dance practice.
Chakradance is suitable for ALL adults over the age of 18 years.
