This 7 week lighthearted series will combine yoga and dance to help bring awareness and increase energy flow to the 7 main energy centers or chakras in the body. No prior yoga or dance experience is necessary. Classes take place in our community room. Only 10 spots available each week.
Informed by her dance background, Tamara’s style of yoga is expressed by clean lines, rhythm, balance and playfulness. With over 20 years of yoga experience, she teaches a dynamic method of yoga, focusing on correct alignment and the extension of the energy lines that compose a posture and channel energy through the body. She brings internal clarity, creativity and lightheartedness to the experience.
Tamara grew up dancing starting lessons at age 3. She views dancing as an opportunity to feel free in the body, while extending light out into the world. She believes grace is innate within us all and is here to encourage us to remember this by freeing ourselves of inhibition and the idea of limitation in the body.
