Chainsaw Sharpening @ RCLC
About this Event
Learn from our experts how to properly sharpen and tension your chainsaw using hand tools. If you’ve gone through our brief chainsaw training and used our chainsaws before, learn how you can sharpen them while you’re using them.
We ask that students please bring gloves and eye protection glasses. If you have your own chainsaw you’d like to sharpen, or files/guides you’d like to practice with, you’re welcome to bring them. We will have equipment on hand for practice as well.
About the instructor, Grace Ditch: Grace is a climbing arborist who uses chainsaws daily in her work. She has been using and maintaining chainsaws in a professional capacity for over 7 years. She is passionate about helping people use chainsaws safely and believes in the old adage that “a sharp saw is a safe saw!”
