Limestone County Extension is excited to bring a free Chainsaw Safety Workshop to residents in Limestone County and surrounding areas. The class will take place on September 22nd & 23rd. Day 1 will cover chainsaw safety, ergonomics, injury prevention, PPE, and risk management. After lunch, participants will observe a live tree-felling demonstration.
Day 2 will provide a hands-on tree-felling training experience. Please note: attendance on Day 1 is required in order to participate in Day 2.
Space for Day 2 is extremely limited. If you would like to participate, please register online and email Jessica Baldwin as soon as possible to confirm your spot. Jessica's information can be found at the registration link below.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion regardless of if they attend 1 or 2 days of training.
