These one-day chainsaw safety courses are hosted by Dane County Parks and taught by certified SAWW (Safety and Woods Working) trainer Luke Saunders of Blue Heron Stewardship, LLC. Level 1 is park of a four-level SAWW series designed to increase safety and efficiency of chainsaw use. Participants need only attend one day of training.
Tuesday, April 16 - This class has two locations on the same day: 4318 Robertson Rd., Madison/McCarthy Youth & Conservation Park.
Thursday, September 26 - Indian Lake County Park
Saturday, October 5 - Stewart Lake County Park
