Meet new friends over delicious chai at elaichi co, a chai shop owned by Muhammad "Mojo" Joyo (CAS '18) and located in Berkeley! Growing up in the Bay Area, Mojo often reminisced about the chai shops he used to visit with his cousins in Pakistan. In South Asian culture, these chai shops often serve as vibrant community hubs. After finishing his degree at NYU in computer science and starting a career in software engineering, Mojo decided to establish a family business that brings community-centric chai culture to the Bay Area. Attendees will receive a ticket for one free chai or coffee, and pastries will be provided.
