For those new to my events, welcome. I enjoy throwing 4 major events a year with this one being my favorite. this is my 11th year and as always, look to make it bigger and better.
it's a Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo party which happens to fall on May 4th this year so I'm including May the 4th Be With You (Star Wars) into the mix
I have the privilege to host this year's event at Whiskey Tavern. Go out to thrift shops and create your best Kentucky Derby or Star Wars themed outfit.
Bringing the margarita machine, and will have fun music, games, and the infamous betting jars (portion of proceeds going to Lakes Region Mental Health).
kicks off at 4pm. Derby picks must be in by 6:30 with the race to follow.
Live music kicks off at 6pm...
Those looking to continue the party are welcome to continue to Tower Hill at 10pm. They have big stage karaoke and are open til 2am.
If enough people are interested in the event, we may get a whole private space in the downstairs bar.
