Level Two Cha-Cha Classes in Calgary ( August 2026 )
Ready to make your Cha-Cha sharper, stronger, and more exciting? Join Christifer Duxbury for a four-week Level Two Cha-Cha course in Calgary, created for dancers who already understand the basic rhythm and foundational movements and are ready to take their dancing further.
Cha-Cha is playful, rhythmic, and full of personality, but great Cha-Cha is about much more than memorizing steps. Throughout this intermediate course, we’ll build stronger technique, cleaner timing, more confident partnering, and dynamic patterns that help your dancing feel more polished and musical.
You’ll work on developing clearer lead-and-follow skills, improved body action, stronger foot placement, better control, and combinations that are both enjoyable to dance and practical for the social floor. The goal is not simply to learn more moves, but to help you dance the moves you already know with greater confidence, quality, and expression.
Class Dates:
Saturdays at 7:00 PM (August 8, 15, 22 & 29, 2026)
Location:
Ballroom & Country Dance Studio (121C 17 Avenue NE, Calgary AB)
Registration:
Four-week course:
$90 per person
$145 per couple
A $25 drop-in option is available for the first class on August 8 only, provided space remains available.
Because this is a progressive Level Two course, full-course registration is strongly recommended. Dancers should already be comfortable with basic Cha-Cha timing and introductory patterns. You do not need to be an advanced dancer, just ready to build beyond the beginner level.
No partner? You are still welcome to inquire about registering. Partner availability and class balance may affect placement, so early registration is encouraged.
