CGRD New Skater/Officials Recruitment
Ever wanted to try roller derby? Now’s your chance! Cape Girardeau Roller Derby is welcoming new skaters and officials for a recruitment night on September 21 from 6:30–8:30 PM at the A.C. Brase Arena Building.
No experience? No problem. We welcome all experience levels, all gender identities, and anyone 18+. And the best part? NO TRYOUTS. Whether you’ve never put on skates before or you’ve been skating for years, there’s a place for you at CGRD.
What to bring:
• Boil-and-bite mouthguard
• Comfortable athletic clothes
• Water bottle
• A willingness to try something new!
We have loaner gear available on a first-come, first-served basis, so you don’t need to own your own equipment to get started.
Come meet the team, learn the basics, and see what roller derby is all about. September 21. 6:30–8:30 PM. A.C. Brase Arena Building. We’ll see you on the track!
