Hello Cape Fear Pickleball Club Members,The Fall Tournament and Social is set to take place on November 12th and 13th at the Beau Rivage Courts. See below for levels and additional information. Again, this is a social tournament, and we will be donating proceeds to the Disabled American Veterans Association. Go to the Cape Fear Pickleball site to register and donate to DAV.
Additional information is that all brackets will report at 8am Saturday and Sunday. Therefore, you cannot play in more than one bracket one the same day. However, you can play Saturday and again on Sunday. We will be pushed to get in all play before dusk, So, it is imperative that you are on time and ready to play. With only 6 courts, there will be some sitting out to wait for a court to open. But this is a social tournament so you can have fellowship with other club members. We are working on the food for the event, and it may be available from Beau Rivage at a cost. Please bring your own chairs. We will have a few things for raffle and auction.
As of now, we are having a triple elimination event. We are limited to 8 teams per bracket, so sign up sooner than later. You will play each game to 11 and win by 1. With all brackets going at once, you can expect to be at the tournament for 5 to 6 hours if you keep winning.
