Welcome to our 2024 fundraising Walkathon page! With rent and other housing solutions out of reach for so many people, we feel compelled to answer the call to love by lacing up our shoes to walk in support of creating more affordable housing options. We see unhoused seniors, working adults, families, and newcomers struggling to find an affordable place to live and we want to help. We are excited to partner with you, your friends, and family, once again this year!
The Walkathon will be hosted at the Ajax Waterfront Trail on June 22nd, 2024, between 10 am – 3:00 pm. We ask for your support by donating whatever you can. Every dollar will help to secure a place for someone to call home. You can donate at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/pages/walkathon-2024/.
If you live in the local area, you may join us at 158 Harwood Ave. South, where you will be bussed to and from the Waterfront. You may also drive directly to Rotary Park where the walk/run begins.
